I watch bollinger bands, the bounce back up to 1.4750s brings price action back into the range of the bands, expect the price action to be USD bullish for the near term..
However, I will stay flat for right now...

Got worried with the charts...LOL!!!!!! Scalped some, but was VERY Scary for a min or two!!! Now going to watch for a short time frame before jumping back in!!

I don't think the price action would be usd bullish.
We will see new high this week or by the mid next week before we go south again.
By the way haven't heard of Stryker lately since he said he will start trading this week??

And can tell you guys that unless things change, Gustav is heading straight for the core of the US oil installations in the gulf, also the possibility of it being a Major hurricane are pretty good. Very Warm Waters, no wind shear ....

Will Euro and oil continu there path with similar trends like they did all summer ?

Hey Caps, you're doing great with your scalping. Now I had a few questions posted yesterday (or the day before) and if you have a spare minute, maybe you can take a look at them?

EUR USD in a range, but not for long anymore. 1,4810 will break and we will see 1,4850 and 1,4900.

I am not a EUR GBP expert, (the same goes for EUR USD...) but when a pair finally breaks out of a triangle it has been in for so long you should not look at overbought/sold. It just goes. Basically EUR GBP is heading for 80.90, and maybe after that 81,90. So far the correction has been shallow, meaning it might push up straight away.
Still I dont wanna buy now. Should have done that at 80.00-20 ....

Hi All,

I'm new to here, and was woken up when my buy hit, having given up around 5 AM EDT while price was in my no man's land. The support, pivot, and resistance was calculate at 00:00 GMT. 1st resistance has held with no hourly close above it until hopefully soon, since I am long with a stop in profit. What a wild ride to be down 28 pips or so and within minutes up 40 or so.

hey guys i have been watchin this forum few weeks and really like info here, sometimes its very very useful thing, though Im not EW fan, it seems to me that fractals can be helpful in some way to at least determine a bit from these moves and i enjoy all those charts and analysis

currently holdin short position on Cable, in fact im not trading now thru FX broker but by buying warrants but i use fx software for charting and observing. from time to time trading intraday on charts. my opinion on Cable is the same as was mentioned above by one of you guys, sorry dont remember who was it, but i think it can fall further down to 1.77 maybe even 1,75. today its slowly moving in range but in my opinion its caused only by higher oil prices, as soon as Gustav will be over, the down move will resume together with eur/usd down and usd/jpy little up. i cant see cable nor eur going to up today, like it doesnt want tom only what is moving is usd - down, all caused by oil, gold. when it reverses, we can see those 1.44-45 eur and under 1.80 cable. what do you think?

PS: i hope ill be able and try to post more as soon as i get used being on forum with all those FX stars

I'm short from 4810, trend channel i mention earlier is still valid.. Don't know abt a break above 4810, seems most of u are expecting a continuation in the main uptrend. Don't use EW much so i duno.

As per my previous post, I got stopped for a 30 pip profit, which was equal to my original stop loss or 30 pip loss, so I'll take it. Won't get back in where it is now, waiting for a better setup and indication. My resistance line held 9 separate hourly closes, so maybe the downtrend shall resume after all.

Ergh, that was wrong. For now.
Maybe a great call by this time tomorrow, but then again: maybe not.
Its still rather volatile, and the candles show the market is looking for direction.
I am not much of an help today. Think I'll go home now and have a nice glass of 15yr old Bowmore.

Having exited my long with a profit, and now seeing my trendline breached on the hourlies (hourly close 1 pip beneath my pivot line, also), I must now succumb to your down channel, and look for a short entry position - hoping to short a rally at some point. Several hours ago, had I been awake, I would have shorted the 48 failure, and been well pleased to do so, but now I wait for entry.
