Tax Benefits for Foreign Residence?
I've read some of the other articles here around this issue, but the specific question I have is this. I am a U. S. Citizen who will be residing outside the U. S. for all of 2007. Is it in my best interest taxwise to register with my U. S. broker with the foreign country as residence or maintain the U. S. residence? Overall will U. S. taxes be more favorable if I trade using a foreign residence.
Thanks, Tim |

No difference is US home or not, US citizens abroad are taxed on world-wide income. Try to take advantage of the foreign earned income exclusion and housing allowance. Avoid state tax, by not keeping a state tax residence. Consider a consultation with me to discuss the best strategies. http://www.greencompany.com/Traders/...nsulting.shtml |
