We are in the process of gathering all the pertinent information and consent from traders and hope to post the results this week or early next week.

Look out for the new monthly thread for November and December in the King of the Mini Competition.

may i confirm that to eligible for the contest, the acct shud have at least 1,000 in the 1st of the month OR on the 1st trading day of the month? thanks

Hey Pompey! According to contest rule # 2:

CONTEST TRADING PERIOD
The contest will begin on the first trading day of each month, and will end on the last trading day of each month. Open positions need not be liquidated for purposes of determining the winners. Percentage gain will be based on ending gross P/L (including floating P/L) as a ledger balance against the beginning balance for the calendar month. If deposits are made, FXCM will use the highest balance as a ledger against the ending gross P/L.

ok. thanks..

so for december, if i fund my acct on the 1st dec (saturday) and appear on my acct on 2nd dec (sunday), i am still eligible for the contest right? as the 1st trading day is on monday - 3rd december.

is there any weekly update for the leader?

Howdy Pompey!

In the case of December--if a trader funds his account on Saturday, the 1st, and funds appear either the same day or the next, Sunday, the 2nd before 5PM ET. Then it is fair to assume that the account will be included in the contest.

Note that Monday, the 3rd is NOT the first trading day of December as trading opens up in New Zealand and Australia first---this means Sunday, approx. 5PM ET (New York).

There are weekly updates that list contest leaders and their respective countries. Feel free to check out the December thread early next week for the update.

On a monthly basis we look at over 4,000 eligible traders for the King of the Mini Contest.

Unfortunately I cannot comment right now on the best historical KOM results but will try to get back to you on this subject on Monday.

Hi,
This is my first post and I wonder what has happened to the weekly results and the discussions with the KOM leaders each week.
