I actually have never paid for a charting package in my life. All of the ones I have looked at did not meet up to my expectations. Especially when I can find what I need in free charts online.

The best ones I've seen for paid charts is from CQG and E-signal .. You couldn't twist my arm to make me pay for them though.. I'm pretty Savy and well informed in all of aspects of FX, why waste money on charts that do nothing for me right? I know enough already, the only good paid charts are -- is if you can get historical data going back 50+ years .. That really helps with Elliott Wave Counts. But still, I don't think paying for a charting package is a neccesity at all. To each their own though. For my FX charts I just use the free powercharts offered by NetDania on FXCM's charting page.
