Hello there Nostalgia. It's no inconveniece at all, so no appology is required I am glad to help. If you have read all those books you have a very good idea of what's going on in the market place already. I would say your next step is to learn candlesticks. If you can add candlesticks to your arsenal you will become virtually untouchable. Although Wave analysis is subjective, you will find with candlesticks you will see the tops and bottoms way more accurately.

I recommend checking out this site CANDLE CHARTING BASICS - CANDLECHARTS

That's Steve Nison's Candlesticks training site. Hopefully you have a little bit of extra coin and you can buy his training DVD's.

Another thing I will say is: Use a top down approach when you trade. What I mean by that is start off by looking at the Monthly chart, Identify the long term elliott wave pattern and trend direction, then flip down to the Weekly, then the Daily, then the 8 Hour, then the 4 Hour, then the 2 hour, and finally the 1 hour chart. You don't need to be concerned with what's going on with the time frames smaller than 1 Hour. You must be aware of what's going on in the bigger picture so you can accurately determine on the smaller time frames what's going on.

Candlestick Analysis will help you enormously, Check out that site.
