Thanks for your advice. I am still learning....so much to learn. I understand how to use the trading platform but when I place a trade its 50/50 weather I make money...like gambling. I need to study trading techniques to improve my odds here!

    Makamint,

To answer your question, yes I trade with FXCM. I chose them only because they sponsored the CNBC million dollar challenge providing the fx portion of the game. If you are new to this type of trading, I would advise using a micro account with FXCM Micro (not a free demo account, which, in my opinion, teaches nothing as when something is not real, it's not real, period. Microlots are 1k lots, using $2.50 of margin (it's 400:1), and trade no more than 5%, preferably less than that, which means if you are willing to risk $10 on a trade (using a stop loss, ALWAYS use stop loss) to make $10 or more, then you will need $500 just to keep the potential loss at 2% of your account on a single lot trade. Hope this helps.
